Tiane Kennedy from Gap Ministries was the speaker.  She explained that the non-profit faith based organization was started in 1999 by Greg and Pam Ayers.  They began providing foster care in their home but over the years the number of foster homes and families has grown to as many as 14. They also train foster parents.
A food pantry in their garage has grown to a warehouse of over 40,000 square feet.  The food pantry has also grown to gather and distribute household and personal items.
Out of the food pantry a commercial kitchen evolved where perishable food is cooked into meals for low income school children and homebound elderly persons.
In 2018 the Miracle Center was established to provide transitional housing for women struggling with addiction.
